: How well do I know Melbourne? Melbourne
is Australia's second largest city, and it is the capital of Victoria State. Melbourne
is considered to be the most beautiful city in Australia because of its similarity
to the cities in Europe. There are also many parks and gardens on both sides of
the roads that help keep the city's atmosphere clean.
There
are approximately 3 million people living in Melbourne with various nationalities.
After the World Wars many people from Europe and Asia has moved to settle down
in Melbourne, then it has become a multicultural city, and English is the language
that is mainly used for communication here.
Melbourne
is a huge city. There are many suburbs surrounding the business area called 'City
Centre' which is located by Yarra River's bank. It is not hard to get around the
city and suburbs because Melbourne has excellent transportation system. There
are trains, trams and buses. You can also visit tourist attractions in the city
by catching the 'Tourist Shuttle Bus' and the 'City Circle Tram', which is incredibly
free of charge.
There
are plenty of interesting places in Melbourne. The very famous places I recommend
are 'Flinders Street Station', 'Melbourne Museum', Queen Victoria Market', 'Royal
Botanic Garden', 'Victoria Arts Centre', and 'St.Kilda' which I like the most.
There is beautiful beach, lots of delicious desserts, and the most exciting place
like 'Luna Park'.
The
weather in Melbourne is amazingly strange. It suddenly changes in a few hours.
Sometimes it is hot, cold, warm, sunny, rainy, but it is usually in dry condition
that causes a serious problem like water shortage, so people in Melbourne are
careful about using water.
I
was in Melbourne for one month and I gained a lot of good experiences that I never
had before. Thank you very much to Brothers Educational Advisory for giving me
such a great opportunity to be in Melbourne. It is something that is really unforgettable. | |

| How
well I know Melbourne?
Love Melbourne? Why not live here? These were the first things I saw on the visitors'
guide when I arrived at the airport. It attracted me a lot and made me think about
what kinds of things could be the cause of those questions from the moment I stepped
out of the airport.
Melbourne is the capital city of the state of Victoria.
It is the second largest city in Australia, Sydney being the first one. Melbourne
is the Australian largest port and Victoria's commercial, financial and industrial
center, it is also a multicultural city where you can see a lot of Europeans and
Asians.
The city lies on the northern bank of The Yarra River which is
like the heart of Melbourne. There are many beautiful parks along side the river
and almost everywhere!. After a busy day in the city, it takes only five to ten
minutes going to the park, "recharge your battery" and be full of energy
again.
Let's have a look on sports and recreation. The most popular outdoor
sports in Melbourne are Cricket, Football, Rugby and Windsurfing, especially Football
or Footy. It was invented in Australia and is played only there. In Melbourne,
there is a Football league called AFL which always has a match between two teams
on weekends and holidays. It is very famous even the elderly people go to see
the matches! Besides the local famous sports, each year Melbourne hosts the Australian
automobile race, the Melbourne cup; a famous horse race and also the well-known
Tennis tournament called Australian Opens.
Melbourne has an extensive public
transportation system. It is really easy to travel around the city and nearly
suburbs. With just one ticket you have choices to travel between trains, tram,
and buses. Before crossing the roads, you have to push a button on the post near
the intersections and wait for the green crossing light signal. The roads in Melbourne
have three or four lanes and the middle lanes are for only trams. This might be
one of the reasons why there are not traffic jams like in Bangkok, Thailand!!
Time
runs fast, four weeks have been passed. I hardly knew the date until my last day
came. Although it was a short period to live in Melbourne, I have gained a lot
of experiences to live myself alone, had many friends and have been to some of
sightseeing places. Now I know exactly the cause of the questions above, because
it really happened to me! This time I have to go back but some days in the future
I will visit this wonderful city again.

am so happy to study in GEOS New York, even I had many problems since the begining
I reached here but Brothers' helped me sloved that problem already. I have a lot
of friends and everyone are so friendly to me (I love hip hop style and I've got
hip hop friends here too!!).
New York is so beautiful city, I enjoy spending
life here and get more knowledge of english skill a lots, my ebglish improve everyday
and I have my own plan to do Master Degree in the future, thank you Brothers'
Education brought me here - I love New York and want to tell everybody to visit

I'd love to say thank you tons and tons, especially, Patty, Khun Ton and Nong
Ploy, who follow up and courage me in coming to University of Wollongong , NSW,
Australia . Wollongong is such a nice place for study, Actually, I lived in Korat
and found a hard time to find some information of what university I should go,
and also contact to the Uni, but by the helping from everyone here and going to
see them only twice. It makes everything easier. And now I am working with my

เดือนในเมลเบิร์นได้ให้สิ่งที่มีค่ากับชีวิตผึ้งอย่างมากมาย ไม่ว่าจะเป็นภาษา เพื่อน
และการดำเนินชีวิตในรูปแบบต่างๆ รวมทั้งได้เรียนรู้วัฒนธรรมและความเป็นอยู่ของผู้คนในเมลเบิร์น
ได้เห็นสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวที่งดงาม และคงความเป็นออสเตรเลีย ก่อนไปรู้สึกกลัวว่าจะไม่สามารถพูดสื่อสารกับชาวต่างชาติได้
และกลัวเรื่องการเดินทาง การใช้ชีวิต แต่ดีที่ได้รับคำแนะนำจากพี่ๆที่ brother ไม่ว่าจะเป็นเรื่องอาหารการกิน
การแต่งกาย เรื่องเงินค่าใช้จ่ายและการใช้รถประจำทาง ที่ค่อนข้างเป็นประโยชน์สำหรับผึ้งเป็นอย่างมาก
วันแรกที่ไปถึงได้พบกับhost mother และคำว่า Good Day คือ คำแรกที่พูดมาออกมาเมื่อเราทั้งสองได้พบหน้ากัน
หลังจากนั้นความกลัวก็เริ่มจางหาย ความสุขและความอยากลองพูดภาษาอังกฤษก็เข้ามาท้าทายความสามารถของเรา
เริ่มรู้สึกว่าการพูดภาษาอังกฤษไม่ใช่เรื่องยากอย่างที่คิด ครั้งแรกที่ได้เห็นบ้านเมืองของเขา
ก็คิดว่าช่างต่างกับเมืองไทยเหลือเกิน ผู้คนในเมืองเมลเบิร์นมีความเป็นมิตร อีกทั้งยังเป็นเมืองที่สะอาด
สวยงาม นอกจากนี้ความตรงต่อเวลาและการรักษากฎระเบียบเป็นสิ่งสำคั?ที่คนในบ้านเมืองนี้ปฏิบัติกันมาอย่างเคร่งครัด
บรรยากาศในชั้นเรียนของozford college ที่ผึ้งได้เข้ามาเรียน
วันแรกที่เข้าชั้นเรียนรู้สึกตื่นเต้นมาก
ลุ้นตลอดเวลาว่าเราจะได้เจอเพื่อนคนไทยมั้ย และเราจะได้เพื่อนต่างชาติประเทศไหนบ้าง
แล้วเราจะพูดรู้เรื่องมั้ย แต่ทุกสิ่งก็ไม่น่ากลัวอย่างที่คิด ผึ้งได้พบเพื่อนคนไทย

was great to hear from you.i'm sorry i havn't replied you sooner because i didn't
check email that u sent me at yahoo and i was very busy for looking a new house
and part time job. i had to adapt myself for living alone here.Everything's just
alright. I had a fantastic time here in London.First month when i came here, I
spent a lot of time for sight seeing around london and went to outside london
sometime. I stayed with host family only one month.they were really good.They
took care me very well.they was absolutely kind and I'm very glad to be in thier
family.
Now
i wake up early on every weekday because my course start at 9.00-12.00AM.The course
is really good and my english get better everyday ,I met a lot of friends who
come from many country and I become friendly with some of them.My teacher is very
nice as well.
Moreover,
I just got part time job at Burger King.i guess, it might help me improve my english.
Although, i enjoy much with both studying and working but sometime i feel quite
homesick because this's my first time that be faraway from my family.i hope my
feeling must be better soon. I'll write again soon la kan na. |
